Natalija Bukvic
Natalija has a degree in history and a master’s degree in communication. She completed her history studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, and her master’s studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences, also at the University of Belgrade.
Since her student days, she has been engaged in the civil sector, participating in the work of several non-governmental organizations, first as a volunteer and activist, and then as a lecturer at numerous educations and through participation in projects. She completed several trainings on public speaking, writing projects, the role of citizens in political life as well as the civil sector, media speaking, organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the National Democratic Institute, the International Republican Institute and many others. Since 2007, he has been a certified trainer of the National Democratic Institute.
In the period from 2007 to 2011, she was engaged as a trainer in the association “Center for the Promotion of Youth Activism” where, through a series of lectures, she taught high school students how to write their biography, how to best present themselves at a job interview, and how to write a project. In the same period, she worked on empowering young people to participate in social and political life.
In the period from 2012 to 2014, she dealt with public relations, as an expert consultant in the Municipality of Trstenik and the company “Prva Petoletka”. In the same period, she worked as the editor of the local newspaper “Tribina”.
Since 2014, she has been employed as a professor of history in Belgrade. Through his work with children, he tries to show them the importance of nurturing the culture of memory and nurturing the history of a nation in general. It also raises the topic of civil rights throughout history, pointing out the importance of respecting them. In the same period, she continued education on the topic of public relations and public speaking, through the training of a large number of newspaper workers in several cities of Serbia.
For years, he has been working on his informal education by attending a series of seminars and by participating in a large number of educations, both in the country and abroad.
Her motto is “What desire knows, what is impossible!” With the energy she possesses and the team of people she is surrounded by, she believes that she will be able to change the world of young people and guide them towards nurturing the right values, because anything is possible, when you want it. You only need to wish!
Ana Gasevic
Ana, graduate pedagogue, completed her studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. After a long break, seeing the state and circumstances in which young people are more and more self-centered, she decided that it is the right time to wake up young people to empower themselves by participating in the work and strengthening of their local self-governments.
In the period from 2004 to 2012. She was an active member of the NGO “Center for the Development of Parliamentary Debate” as an educator of debating skills.
During her work in the period from 2007 to 2011 in the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the Youth Sector, she worked intensively on the implementation of the project of opening the Youth Office, of which at that time there were over 126 newly opened offices. After that, he continues his work in JP “Gradsko Semnobo”, as a coordinator of the Service for relations with citizens and information, where he tries to make young people aware of the culture of housing through educational processes.
She worked hard on her non-formal education. In 2005, she completed the School of Advanced Political Skills of the National Democratic Institute, then in 2006, she completed the Public and Media Representation training of the National Democratic Institute. She successfully completed the debating skills program at the Center for the Development of Parliamentary Debate. She also completed the training “Education of young people for human rights” within the Youth Human Rights Education Program of the Council of Europe, training for project writing within the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence, training for Public Performance – MAINPoint, the course “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” in organization of USAD and Be Your Own Man, as well as training for trainers of the National Democratic Institute. She followed and participated in the “Debate and Negotiation Training” realized by the Robert Schumann organization from Budapest, in Budapest.
She made her contribution to the development of sensorimotor activities in children, which is based on Montessori work methods, by creating the educational and game didactic tool “Kalendarko sveznalko”, which was accredited by the Institute for the Advancement of Knowledge and Education.
She believes that her energy, as well as teamwork, can contribute to raising awareness among young people, both at the local and regional level.
Maja Mojaševic
Maja was born in Belgrade, where she finished elementary school and the Ninth Belgrade High School “Mihailo Petrovic Alas”. He is a student of the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade. Since the beginning of her high school education, she has been active in the civil sector and especially works on the international connection of young people from the region and beyond.
In high school, she was a member of the Student Parliament, where she strove to develop among young people a sense of community, mutual tolerance, respect, then, to promote civil rights and develop a sense among her peers that we live in a time of democracy and parliamentarism and that it is important to participate in deciding on future, both our own and the country in which we live.
He is the founder of the organization SOMUN (Sustainable Objectives Model United Nations), which organizes events based on the United Nations model. During 2022 and 2023, two successful events of this type were organized, in which a large number of young people from the country and region participated. In the future, he plans to make these conferences a tradition and organize them on an annual basis. Before she founded her own, she participated in similar events organized by other organizations that work according to this model. Thus, in 2022, she participated in these events as a representative of countries such as Turkey and Syria, as a senator from the US state of Michigan.
She has been interested in international relations and diplomacy since high school. In order to expand her knowledge of this field, she volunteered at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh. She also participated in the international meeting “Global Town Hall” in 2022, the theme of which was maintaining peace and development in a divided world.
He is a regular participant in regional meetings of the European Youth Parliament of Serbia in Belgrade.
